Week 1 – Exercise Check In

I made it through my first CURVES workout in over a year. I have to tell you, it wasn’t pretty. I refuse to go into details because I’m not going to be embarrassed on my own blog. πŸ™‚ The good news is I went and I exercised. Things should only get better Wednesday and Friday as I make it through Week 1. So let me know how your week starts. Gotta go now. My bed’s calling my name.

  1. Angela, your body is just waking up sis. It gets better. Trust me. I ran my first two miles ever!!! I think being in a group holds you more accountable.

Today I’m going to kickboxing and Crossfit. That should be fun. We’re going to do this! I can’t wait to take my measurements October 1st!

I’ve heard good things about Curves. It’s Christian-based, right?

  2. Geigh, I agree about a group helping with accountability. That being said, I’ll be back in 45 minutes or so. πŸ™‚

  3. Okay, I know I said 45 minutes and it’s been 3 hours, but I did it. Yay me! I did a medium impact aerobics video that I have. Three times a week, right? So one down, two to go…

  4. Good start, ladies! Things did get better today but I still had to go home and go to bed. I just keep thinking how much better next week is going to be.

Geigh, yes, CURVES has some type of Christian affiliation though I’m not sure the details.

  5. Strange, but my bed’s calling my name *all* the time lately. I think I’ve spent more than half of each day sleeping. Not good. For every hour I’m out doing errands, I need 2 or more hours of sleep to make up for it–afterwards or the next day–usually both. It’s crazy.

Since walking is the cheapest form of exercise, at least until the snow falls, that’s what I’m trying to do most. There’s a lot of cold air coming in here as well. It was supposed to be just a little over 40 some of this week.

My brother-in-law’s father died yesterday. Please pray for the family. His youngest son predeceased him and his wife, 2 daughters and 3 sons are still left. My brother-in-law is the eldest in the family. Not all are believers.
