Book Promo Resources

Book promotion is a big deal for writers and getting bigger everyday. To this end, I’ve pulled together a list of book promo resources that you may want to consider as you do your own promo. I have used some, but not all, of them, so you can’t consider this list an endorsement of every entry. As I have time, I’ll comment on the ones I’ve used and what they’ve done for me. I won’t be the BBB of online book promo resources though.

Promo services provided are easier to find on some of these sites than others. You should look for links like Services, Book Promo, Author Promo, Advertising, etc.

You should also free free to add to this list. Just submit a comment with your resource and any information about it that you want to share. Be careful about speaking negatively about a source. It’s bbetter to stick to services provided. If someone wants to follow-up, they can contact you privately.

Okay, here’s the list. I’ll update it as I have new items.

  1. I need to add VistaPrint at http://www.vistaprint.com to the list of book promo resources. I just had some business cards done by them and I’m very impressed. with their prices and customer service. I basically took one of their designs, uploaded my own images, and then had customer service help me work out the kinks. Too some time but well worth it. My cards should arrive in a about a week. The shipping prices are kinda high if you need stuff back quickly, which I did, but their 21-day shipping prices are fairly cheap. Take a look.
